University of Costa Rica celebrates World Environment Day

The University of Costa Rica and the QUALENV team come together, from May 31 to June 4, to celebrate Environmental Week 2021. This is a space in the university agenda dedicated to reflecting on the environmental problems that we face as humanity and to promote actions in favor of the restoration of ecosystems and the fight against climate change.

The week includes talks, discussions and a concert organized by the Environmental Management Unit (UGA) and the administrative staff, teachers and students from different academic units.

In parallel, during this week, the UCR will host the international meeting “Future Conversations: ODS-COVID” in its “Planet Week”, where academics and leaders of initiatives from all over the continent will meet to propose challenges and solutions related to the Goals of Sustainable Development.
