The Tärnöl laboratory was the first to introduce a GU-certified environmental management system in 2004. As a good example, our work was presented yesterday to representatives of 14 universities from 8 countries.

The Erasmus + triennial project “Changing the Climate: Guaranteeing the Quality of Environmental Strategies in Latin American Higher Education” is:

– Implement systematic environmental practices through environmental management systems.

– Transferring experience, skills and competencies.

– Develop education for sustainable development.

– Reduce the environmental impact of the associated universities.

– Establish a European-Latin American network for sustainable campuses.

In addition to lectures, visits to the aquarium, a gray and rainy coastal sea became an exotic experience for guests from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Italy and Gothenburg.
